The buff is made of Himatec Fleece fabric. This is a lightweight, innovative fleece fabric that protects against overheating and subsequent hypothermia. Due to the fabric's texture, air layers are formed, which provide additional heat retention.

The fabric is lightweight and breathable, wicks away moisture, and dries quickly, preventing moisture from accumulating under the buff and the neck from getting sweaty during prolonged use. It also has an antibacterial treatment that prevents the formation and spread of bacteria.

The buff is almost weightless, stretches well, and is secured with a drawstring and plastic stopper.
